It’s Autumn…happy sigh…It’s simply GLORIOUS when you live in the PNW like we here at SheBuilds do! The colors of this season are PERFECT when designing your new kitchen or bathroom.
Matching your favorite paint color is no problem! Cabinets also come in a wide range of colors so you can mix and match. Lots of our SheBuilds clients choose different upper and lower cabinet colors!
Since color is such a GREAT way to express your personality and warm up any space, here are some things we LOVE to do this time of year that can bring color inspiration to your renovation project:
Visit nearby flower fields. Locally we have a premier dahlia grower along with a variety of lavender and sunflower festivals. Be inspired by every color of the rainbow as you relax and unwind in nature.
Have you ever been to a nut orchard? Perhaps you’re not a big fan of walnuts right out of the bag from Costco. But, have you ever had a FRESH from the tree, just cracked walnut? There’s NO weird aftertaste! The soft brown of their shells and sweet nut meat are great warm colors for your new space.
And leaves! The PNW has a wide array of deciduous trees that turn eye-popping colors! Have you ever driven the neighborhoods around Sunset Avenue in Sherwood? There are several varieties of trees flanking the street plus a row down the middle. It’s like being in tree heaven! Stop at Woodhaven Park for a picnic and take a walk. Pick up a fallen leaf or two and you’ll have yellows, reds, greens and orange shades to create a cozy and warm kitchen or bathroom palette.
There’s something deeply serene and homey about the embrace of fall splendor. SheBuilds is here to bring this feeling from outside-IN!
